Why bring your child to our Cottage.
The Montessori Infant and Toddlers Cottage is proudly affiliated with Kamloops Montessori Preschool, located at 920 Greystone in Aberdeen. Our cottage offers a nurturing, child-centered environment dedicated to supporting children from birth to 6 years old. As your child approaches their third birthday, they will seamlessly transition to our 3-5 classrooms at the same location or at Greystone Preschool, where they will continue their Montessori journey. There, they will engage in enriching activities designed to foster exploration, independence, and a lifelong love of learning, preparing them for a smooth transition to Kindergarten and beyond.

We serve a small, select group of children, allowing us to provide personalized, child-centered care that is carefully tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. Equipped with high-quality Montessori educational resources and supported by highly trained, dedicated educators, we create meaningful learning experiences that inspire wonder, ignite curiosity, and foster resilience and confidence. Our Montessori-based education model, seamlessly integrated with the BC Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), has been thoughtfully designed to provide each child with high-quality care that nurtures their growth, well-being, and sense of belonging. Teaching Team
Following our BC licencing regulations for staff, all our staff members are qualified to work with young children. We have 2- ITs (infants and toddlers teachers, 2 ECE teachers and 1 ECEA teacher. These are the requirements needed for anyone to work with Infants and Toddlers.
